Can I Use Different Scales When Checking In?

Scales can differ significantly in the numbers they show, even when they’re high-quality models. This variation can happen due to differences in calibration, sensor sensitivity, and even the surface they’re placed on. Because of this, we strongly recommend sticking to the same scale throughout the program. This ensures that your weekly check-ins provide consistent and reliable data. Also, make sure your scale is fully charged or has fresh batteries to avoid any inaccuracies.
If you’re traveling and need to use a different scale, that’s absolutely fine. However, make sure to let your coaching team know that you’re using a different scale. This helps us avoid making any big changes to your program based solely on a number that might not align with your usual scale.
Remember, the most important thing is consistency. Using the same scale whenever possible allows your coaching team to focus on your overall progress rather than worrying about discrepancies between devices. If you do switch scales, just keep us informed—it’s all part of making your journey as smooth and successful as possible!
